XDC Token
XDC Network (XDC) is an enterprise-ready hybrid blockchain technology company focused on international trade and finance. It operates on the XDC protocol, which supports smart contracts, offers high transaction throughput (2000TPS), fast transaction times (2 seconds), and implements KYC for Masternodes (Validator Nodes). The XinFin network aims to create a highly scalable, secure, permissioned, and commercially viable blockchain network. The network's native coin, XDC, serves as the fuel for the XinFin ecosystem.
XDC Network, originally XinFin Network, was created by three co-founders: Atul Khekade, Ritesh Kakkad, and Karan Bhardwaj. Each has extensive experience in blockchain technology.
XDC Network and its XDC token have several real-world use cases. One notable application is TradeFinex.org, which facilitates the origination of digital, structured financial requirements for small and medium-sized businesses or institutions. It enables them to distribute their financial needs to banks or non-bank funders using a common distribution standard. XDC Foundation, a non-profit organization associated with XinFin Network, works with international governments to address the infrastructure funding gap by leveraging blockchain technology. XDC's goal is to connect investors and developers securely, allowing them to transact finances against secured digital assets and streamline infrastructure project financing. The XDC token serves as a settlement mechanism for various DApps built on the XDC Hybrid Blockchain, including MyContract, Kramaa, Land Registry, iFactor, Blockdegree, and TurantPay.
